Orquesta Barroca de Helsinki

The clave becomes the protagonist with two especially renowned interpreters in the historical repertoire, Pierre Hantaï and Aapo Häkkinen. Two specialists who join forces with the Helsinki Baroque Orchestra, a formation highly valued on the current baroque scene, to revisit Bach's Conciertos para clave, true marvels of inventiveness, virtuosity, and instrumental dialogue. The programme brings together the concertos BWV 1060-1062, works that allow the clave to be heard not only as a solo instrument, but in constant dialogue with the orchestra and between the keyboards themselves. An opportunity to rediscover one of the brightest facets of instrumental Bach with the help of interpreters who know its language deeply.
