Hop Sant Andreu

The Hop Festival, Dansat, Centre Cívic Bon Pastor, and Centre Cívic Sant Andreu unite to bring the multiple dimensions of dance and urban culture to the Sant Andreu District. In front of the Centre Cívic del Bon Pastor, we can enjoy the three pieces of this edition: LÎLA, BAILAMOS POR NO LLORAR, Etereocuriosas (15 minutes). Lîla explores the tension between authenticity and adaptation through the language of hip Hop. Two bodies traverse questions about identity, creation, and belonging in a context that conditions how we live and create. How to resist without ceasing to transform? Etéreocuriosas is a company formed by Alba Salara and Marina Sparrowe that investigates the meeting between hip-hop language and contemporary creation. Their work seeks to transfer the codes of urban dances to live arts and contribute to the visibility of women on the scene. Pattern Recognition explores thought loops, repetition, and bodily memory through the duet format. Between urban and contemporary dance, two bodies seek each other, support each other, and traverse their own internal battles. The piece imagines repetition not as a closure, but as a possibility of connection, transformation, and care. Cristian González is creator and choreographer, interested in dance as a space for research on the body, desire, and forms of relationship. His work moves between urban and contemporary languages, developing pieces that combine physical sensitivity, visual imaginaries, and shared experiences. Through freestyle, theatrical interpretation, and autobiographical material, eleven interpreters transform vulnerability into stage language. Truth in Movement is an introspective journey that explores the internal voices that accompany us throughout life, such as doubt, the need for validation, or the feeling of belonging. Combonation is an Afro-urban dance collective formed by thirteen artists from diverse cultural origins and life trajectories who started dancing together on the street. They work on a collective, horizontal, and self-taught creation.
