Nigra sum

Catalan composer Andreu Diport, based in the United States, has created orchestral arrangements of notable choral works by Schubert, Mendelssohn, Brahms, and Casals, forming a musical journey that ranges from songs about nature and divinity to a spirituality deeply rooted in the land. The concert champions the figure of Pau Casals as a composer and conductor, as well as his interest in choral music for its artistic, pedagogical, and social cohesion value, combined with the symphony orchestra, which he considered "the greatest instrument in the world". At 17 h, the presentation of Nigra sum will take place. It will be a talk with Xavier Chavarria. Free activity with ticket purchase and without prior registration.
