LA VENGANZA DE DON MENDO

An updated, agile and funny version of the classic by Pedro Muñoz Seca. A verse satire of romantic tragedies, it is one of the great hits of Spanish theatre. Now, the master of humour Paco Mir takes the reins of direction to turn it into a play full of anachronisms, a fast-paced rhythm and lots of stage play. Faithful to their parodic spirit, the actors embrace metatheatre to reflect, between laughs, on theatre and its role in society.
