Juan Diego Flórez & Vincenzo Scalera

Juan Diego Flórez has a special relationship with the audience of the Palau de la Música Catalana. One of the most beloved tenors of recent decades returns to a hall that fills up on every visit, where he has created a very particular complicity with the spectators. Virtuosity, elegance, and direct communication turn his recitals into something more than a succession of arias and songs. Accompanied at the piano by Vincenzo Scalera, Flórez proposes a tour of songs and opera arias that usually reserves one last surprise: the encores, often with popular songs from his native Peru, have become almost a meeting within the meeting. Flórez returns to the Palau and, with him, also comes back that special chemistry that only occurs between an artist and an audience that know each other well.
