AMAMÁ is an immersive artistic experience that honors the incredible musical intelligence of infants and celebrates their bond with their families.
AMAMÁ is an immersive artistic experience that honors the incredible musical intelligence of infants and celebrates their bond with their families. What happens when we remove the barriers between artists and audience? What happens when we treat infants as the most sensitive and perceptive audience in the world? AMAMÁ is a wordless musical and movement journey, through original music created with lullabies from the proto-language of infants and performed by a unique instrumental quartet (voices, percussion, violin, and accordion). Based on the pioneers "Concertos for Infants" by Paulo Lameiro and grounded in Edwin Gordon's Musical Learning Theory.
