From Wednesday to Saturday, 19:30 h Sunday, 18 h Promotion before the premiere: 50% discount for the first performances (Limited to 50 tickets/per performance) Oriol Genís Cycle Pack: 12 € / show Caterina Albert was a first-rate playwright, too advanced to be recognised during her lifetime. Her magnetic theatre, written before the author turned to fiction, sits halfway between popular sainet and the works of the main renewers of the 20th century, of whom she is a clear precursor. This show brings to the stage two disturbing plays by Víctor Català: La tieta and Verbagàlia. Two important, little-known and at the same time highly representative pieces of the 'dramatic' Victor Catalan vision, so disillusioned yet sensitive to the power of existential illusions. Theatre for great interpreters, of lesser appearance but of extremely high flight, in which the impulses of modernity beat fiercely under the airs of tradition. Oriol Genís and Paula Blanco present this piece once again, premiered in 2024 at Sala Atrium, alongside Albert Arribas, playwright, director and one of the main artistic companions in the actor's trajectory in recent years. This show is part of the cycle ORIOL GENÍS: word, body and character, a cycle that wishes to share with the public the admiration and recognition of the trajectory of an actor committed for years to risk and artistic quality, faithful to the language and with a very personal conception of the craft and its relationship with life.
