At El forat blanc, the first musical show produced by Sala Beckett, we witness the final days of a renowned artist. She is accompanied by her four children, from two different marriages, each with their own problems, and also the brother of her second husband, who is the one taking care of her. The decision to die before what a terminal illness dictates and the considerable inheritance she leaves will create disputes and tensions among all four children. In theoretical physics, a white hole, contrary to black holes, expels matter, expands it and turns it into light. Here, just like in a white hole, the mother of this family decides to convert her death into light for her children. To fight and overcome the darkness that lives curled up in each of them. Now that we celebrate the tenth anniversary of Sala Beckett in Poblenou, we have wanted to count on some of the creators linked to our trajectory to propose them a new specific project for this occasion. Sergi Belbel participated very actively in the opening of Sala Beckett in Gràcia in 1989, and also in the one in Poblenou in 2016. We have had him as author and also as director, as professor and as promoter and animator of multiple initiatives over the years. Composer Òscar Roig has also been linked to Beckett on different occasions.
