Rojos
An exercise in recovering historical memory that advocates for the remembrance of a generation that had to live clandestinely during the post-Spanish Civil War period. Based on research into the post-Civil War era, the piece highlights dissident voices and clandestine life during repression through artistic figures, female creators, and the homosexual movement. It connects the present moment with the post-war period through first-hand experiences and the construction of an artistic narrative complementary to the historical one, created from collective memory.
