Barcelona Gay Men's Chorus
Solidarity concert by the Barcelona Gay Men's Chorus in honor of International Breast Cancer Awareness Day and organized by the Vilassar de Dalt contra el càncer association. The Barcelona Gay Men's Chorus (BCNGMC) is one of the largest LGTBIQ+ choirs in Spain, composed mainly of gay men and directed by Gerard Ibáñez. The group stands out for a dynamic, modern, and highly energetic staging, with a repertoire that embraces mainly pop and other contemporary styles. Their goal is to combine artistic quality with visibility and normalization of diversity, while promoting vocal training for their members and participating in solidarity initiatives. BGMC concerts are known for being vibrant, exciting, and visually impactful, featuring choreography, humor, narrative, and often a very marked theatrical component. Programs such as Survivor, Gentleman, Anima, BGMC & The Queen, We Have a Voice, or Shampoo combine music, storytelling, and a carefully designed stage design.
