Trencanous (Suite)

TRENCANOUS (SUITE)
Classical dance
BCN City Ballet presents El Trencanous, with the special participation of students from the dance schools of Pineda de Mar. On Christmas night the family gathers; everyone in the family home. Outside there is much snow, it is cold, everyone around the tree to sing the Christmas carols as every year, but on this occasion a surprise appears: the character of Drosselmeyer, Clara's uncle, and he appears loaded with gifts for all the children of the family, and a very special gift for Clara, a Trencanous with the figure of a toy soldier.
Clara in her dreams of the night sees how the toy soldier comes back to life and takes her on a journey through the world of fantasy, dances from all over the world, the battle of the rats and the toy soldiers... The dances from all parts of the world (Arab, Spanish, Chinese, urban, etc.).
A show full of joy and emotions where children and adults enjoy the magic of Christmas, letting their imagination fly to a world of fantasy.
The people had stopped believing that it was possible to be all united, but we will demonstrate that cohesion is possible, where there is room for multiculturalism, traditions, children, parents, grandparents... and above all, dreams!!
