Quartet Nonell

The Quartet Nonell will perform at the Church of Sant Sever in Barcelona a selection of counterpoints from Johann Sebastian Bach's L'Art de la Fuga; the quartet, op. 33 no. 2, "The Joke", by Joseph Haydn; and the String Quartet no. 3 by Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga, commemorating the bicentenary of his death. A programme that puts into dialogue three great composers, exploring ingenuity, counterpoint and complicity between the four voices of the string quartet.
