Orquestra Sònica

Artists Orquestra Sònica Llibert Fortuny, saxophone Marcelo Woloski, percussion Fabia Mantwill, direction Programa The idea is ambitious and is already a reality thanks to the large pool of musicians that Catalonia has. Orquestra Sònica presents itself as the first professional symphony orchestra in southern Europe dedicated exclusively to modern music, following the path embarked upon before by formations as renowned as the Metropole Orkest of the Netherlands. Precisely with this last group, the ensemble Snarky Puppy recorded an album, the main formation of one of the star guests of this concert, the percussionist Marcelo Woloski. The Argentine will integrate into the thirty musicians of Sònica to bring to life the original repertoire of the German saxophonist Fabia Mantwill, who will conduct her own music—collected in the two albums she has published so far—while playing with a saxophonist of electric energy like Llibert Fortuny. More voltage and sensitivity guaranteed. More information Concert "Orquestra Sònica" on the website of L'Auditori
