The 2026-2027 season of the Nits de Clàssics de Valls will begin on October 1st with a clear commitment to champion the figure of the composer Robert Gerhard from Valls. The first quarter will include three proposals from the Robert Gerhard Biennial, which will combine music and outreach to bring his work and career to the public. The cycle will open with Llinatges. Deconstruction of a composer's thought. Concert for 8, with students and teachers from the ESMUC directed by Edmon Colomer. On October 15th, it will be the turn of Libra&Leo, featuring the presentation of the novel by Margarida Aritzeta dedicated to the Gerhard couple and a chamber music recital. On October 25th, Roses roges will address the artistic and personal relationship between Robert Gerhard and Conxita Badia, with a lecture and a recital. The autumn programming will be completed with large-scale proposals. On October 9th, the Centre Cultural Municipal will host Música de l'impressionisme, with works by Debussy, Dukas, and Ravel; in November, Seicento, dedicated to 17th-century music, will arrive, and in December, the traditional Cant de la Sibil·la will be celebrated. The quarter will conclude on December 29th with the Festival of waltzes and dances, under the direction of the Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès, which will perform in Valls for the first time.
