Insectotròpics

With its own stage language, Insectotròpics fuses live videocreations, painting, visual arts, electronic music, and performative dramaturgy to generate an immersive and intensely visual universe. At La conferència dels ocells (Manṭiq al-Ṭayr, 1177), by Farid al-Din Attar, a group of birds embarks on a spiritual journey in search of the Simurgh. Insectotròpics creates a multimedia adaptation that focuses on the birds that get lost along the way, those who doubt, those who stop, or those who are afraid to continue. Rather than an individual search, the work explores the value of the shared journey. The company, the community, and listening become central axes of the experience. The collective, horizontal, and multidisciplinary work is at the heart of Insectotròpics' creative process, with a constant dialogue between technology and artistic gesture, between ritual and experimentation. La conferència dels ocells is an invitation to look through others and to inhabit the path, together. A contemporary ritual about limits, fears, and revelations born from sharing the journey.
