Exposició "Otto Cavalcanti"

Retrospective exhibition dedicated to the Hispano-Brazilian artist Otto Cavalcanti, a prominent figure linked to Barcelona. The show presents a journey through his creative universe, characterized by color, expressive force, and the development of his own concept of the «Combinism of Visual Forms». Cavalcanti's work integrates influences from modernism, cubism, surrealism, and geometric abstraction, with iconography often centered on the human figure, music, nature, and his Brazilian roots. His work is based on the dialogue between rigorous geometric forms and freer organic strokes, generating dynamic and complex visual narrative compositions. Through this exhibition, an extensive artistic trajectory is highlighted that connects popular culture, technology, and emotional expression, as well as his contribution to muralism, with notable interventions such as that at the Sant Pau Hospital in Barcelona.
