Exposició "Concha Ibáñez. L'evocació del paisatge"

"L'evocació del paisatge" is the first exhibition in Catalonia dedicated to Concha Ibáñez after her death, in 2022, and coincides with the centenary of her birth. Far from being an anthology show, it has focused on the theme in which the artist excelled and to which she dedicated more effort during her career: the landscape. For the first time, the public has the opportunity to see a significant collection of the artist's most well-known landscape series, as well as some of her most representative works from other series. These are landscapes painted from the memory of what she had seen and visited during her numerous travels. She painted each place multiple times and assigned it colors, within the chromatic restriction she practiced, which have become distinctive color palettes for each location.
