El Brujo – La segunda venida de Cristo

El Brujo returns to the Teatro Apolo de Barcelona with the premiere of his new show: La segunda venida de Cristo o el yoga de Jesús. Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts 2002 among other distinctions, Rafael Álvarez, El Brujo has a career of more than 50 years of experience on stage and states that this show is the most daring title of his entire theatre career, a witty monologue with great touches of humor.

A complex work about the exposition of the Gospels, especially the Gospel of Saint John, the most striking, special and symbolic fragments from the perspective of Eastern philosophy and the science of yoga from India. It is a moment when the world needs this knowledge. A staging that will combine the science of the soul with rhythm, humor, the sense of celebration and the dynamism of the shows I always make and that require the permanent complicity of the audience's laughter.
