Her music, defined as "stimulating, vivid, and intensely lyrical," has been performed by the Ensemble intercontemporain, the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester, or the Orchestre de Paris, among other ensembles. This programme presents six works by Charlotte Bray, five of which are national premieres. The programme is completed with the Five Night Pieces by the German composer Hans Werner Henze, a key work within his catalogue in which he distances himself from the dodecaphonic aesthetic to give way to a more personal language. Likewise, Sonya's Lullaby by the composer and orchestra conductor Oliver Knussen, written at the end of the seventies for his daughter Sonya, who then, with just four months, had difficulties falling asleep. In this way, Knussen created this delicate lullaby with the intention of helping her. More information Concert "Open Letter to Charlotte Bray" on the L'Auditori website.
